Dr Jacqui King has been a Chartered Accountant for almost 30 years, augmented by an MBA, and because of a deep connection with rural Queensland, added a second profession to her repertoire with undergraduate (BVSc) and post-graduate (GradDip, PhD) studies in veterinary and agricultural science. Jacqui is devoted to lifelong learning and making a difference.
In the past seven years Jacqui has successfully achieved outcomes for the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and statutory bodies where her combination of skills has been invaluable.
She has developed a reputation for being extremely adept at balancing and considering many facets in leading teams to deliver outcomes and in navigating the organisation through difficult environments. This has led to appointment to positions of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director, General Manager and Director where she excelled at delivering on organisational objectives.
As a leader, Jacqui is strategic, yet operational, and has exceptional regulatory, policy and technical skills and experience.
